what do you guys think about the subrosa hold tight front load stem?

have any of you used it?

Not had one, but seems a bit dear for a forged stem, although from a decent brand.

I'd keep a lookout for a old stock machined stem, might be an old colour, but if it matters, pound shop has black spray!

also, look out for a decent stem second hand, but be careful, some are knacked!, you can usually tell a lot by the condition of the allen bolts.

For an extra £15-£16 you can get a shadow conspiracy, proper, cult machined stem from chain reaction.
