A few months back I saw something on eBay that I really wanted, not being a 'man of money' I put a few completes up for a quick sale...
To cut a long story short, only one of three bikes sold leaving me way short of funds to be able to bid on what I wanted and as a result my beloved Quadangle on its way to its new owner deal sealed :'(
Armed with PayPal fundage (and we all know how quickly that can be flittered away on bits n bobs !!) and no end goal I had a scout about and found myself winding myself into a deal with 'Stella' for his 84 Changa.
I had decided early on in the deal that due to the state of the Changa's drop outs that it would be getting a full makeover. This is where it all starts to get a wee bit Funky ^"^
Taking inspiration from Mark's (bboygraphix on the museum) original finish VDC Freestyler...

And applying it to a VDC Changa, this is what happens

Then we add some parts and.......
.......BOOYAH !!!

Special thanks to.... Dan (SBD) for adding some much needed colour, Ash (kungfunky) + Mark (bboygraphix) for working out the colour needed and Del for the decals ;)
Expect a few minor changes as I fine tune it over the next few weeks.

+1 on that. Great to see it being used! :)
-
Perfect pic Steve, I'm really hoping the bike is unscathed after yesterday's ride?
As far as I know it should be unscathed, I'll know for sure when I get to work.
I slipped it straight in the back of the car and covered it up when I got home (00:30) :coolsmiley:
I don't have the same riding problems since changing my diet from beer to fruit-shoot (cider)
Baring in mind it's rained ever since I built it, I never got a chance to give it a run down the road to make sure it all felt good.
I'm pleased to report there were no dramas, a slight click/notchyness from the lh pedal so I'll overhaul those, otherwise all good :)
-
Think ya photo skills are tops.. You even added her indoors as a back prop.. Lovely bike to say the least. ;)
-
Steve.......is there a Ral number for this colour mate ????
Looks feckin lush "wantit" and it's got a few cogs in my head churning away now.
