I like... I like the whole thing!!!! :daumenhoch:

My own personal opinion Steve is, they are quite a 'square' industrial looking set of bars that fit on the Change with all the tubes not married together. The MRD has smooth, elegent, married tubes that need that in a set of bars too :)
But if you like them on it, that's all that counts buddy :daumenhoch:

Have to say I agree with Terry 100%
Not sure that Northern Monkey bars belong on a bike from the South residing in the Midlands ;) But if you like them that's what matters & Im loving the ACS Pedals buddy , All the colours work well also Nice job ! :daumenhoch:

I changed it from this a while back and don't like it as much now :'( So looking 4 ideas along this line I think :D I love the bars , had the pro size bitd ::) I'll add a pic if I have 1 ;) These expert size r so much nicer in my opinion and I always wanted a set :daumenhoch:

You fooking sheep!!! :LolLolLolLol:

I think they look great on there,I am biased though,i have some as well on my NP,which of course they fit in with being both VDC designs :daumenhoch:
Point to note is both Steves and myselves are the standard size bars(27 x 7 1/2"?) which have better proportions than the full pro size bars i feel :)
BTW your bike is fookin cool 8)
-
Personally, they dont work for me, what about something like this?

It has MRD expert bars on it at the mo but I don't like them :crazy2:
-
I think they look great, especially if you're keeping the seat at that height (if the seat was positioned/used lower it would need a set of bars with a lower crossbar)
IMO the ACS pedals would have to go :-\
as nice as they are, everything ACS screams Freestyle.

I frikkin love em on there Steve propa bars

In my honest opinion, the whole bike looks like a parts bin raid, now don't get me wrong, this is not a bad thing in my mind, your build has the look of a bike that has along with its owner progressed through different parts to make the best bike for the rider. It has a very real back in the day feel, not all of us had the money to buy matching bits or the best of everything, we swapped, borrowed, and threw mountains of weekly free newspapers in the river in order to get parts, and when we could we didn't really think about the over all look of the bike as a whole, as we do now, we wanted the cool looking bits regardless of what they looked like.
I love it mate, it looks proper to me.
Ps are those acs stoker pedals :smitten:

I like them steve, its just how we rolled bitd except lets face it most kids had cw's or did around my way,its only since collecting has become fashionable that everybody now hates cw's and vdc monkey bars.bigger the better :daumenhoch:
-
i don't know what it is our stevo as you know i like your builds.
but to me they dont look right at all.
wrong sort of shape to go with the rest of it.
you can kick me in the balls next time you see me if you think im wrong "help"

I agree with some of the other comments that the bars don't suit the frame. The frame looks sleek, elegant & fast, where the bars just look mean. Sort of having a wolf fishes face on a race horse body. Nice frame and lovely bars though, just not together. Only my opinion....

Proper pony Steve, it's all out of proportion, it don't know if it's coming or going. Proper MRD build
