just beautiful :smitten:
look at the length on that, although I'm not sure if it's been pushed in as far as the minimum insertion point seeing as it's leaning back
-
:LolLolLolLol:
-
probably another one stuck in there already :buck2:
-
"nono" :idiot2:
-
That's not a seat post, from the length it could be a scaffolding pole
-
....your eyes wander up and you expect to have reached the end ....it still has that boom in store. class ^"^
-
:LolLolLolLol: the bars should also be leaning a lot further forward to finish the build off
any other very high seatpost pics of other bmx's post em up

me on the Robinson, 17+ at 1988 NBMXA at the Greyhound Stadium. Not a bad effort as i'm only 5'7" now. tbf mine isnt the highest in the photo even!
-
Seatposts were high back in the day, maybe not as high as the ebay link but people seem to think they were all low like they are today. No way, i rode mine high when i raced, probably the same as the picture above. When i build bikes now i still put it quite high, it's how most of us rode so i build now, how it was then.
-
Yep, they were always high.

Now that's an impressive length there Joff mate "wantit" :LolLolLolLol:
People have mocked the large seat post on my FST to be fair but riding both into and out of Wigan it was a godsend on the Toy Ride ;)
A much more civilised ride than my Streetbeat...it even makes me consider having a go at the racing at the next MK.....don't laugh boys...I'm only at the thinking about it stage!! : :D
