Eh up lads, went for a little look round a few second hand places today looking for an old 80's style tv to go with the Atari and i found a cracking POS complete survivor for 15 notes. I havn't bought it yet but just wondering if anyone can shed some light on it.
It was an all red looptail, a twin hole burner style gusset with a small bb gusset. It had cool looking double drop front forks in chrome, a kickstand bolted to the rear drops and the decal just said BMX with the same on the pads.
I know i have seen it before but i just cant think where, especially the forks. :-\
Yes i know pics would help but so would an andriod phone that lives for more than two minutes at a time :tickedoff:
Cheers all :daumenhoch:

Iron horsed dirt burner???

That'd probably cheer you up though :LolLolLolLol:

Ha I actually said to our kid "i would just wipe that over and ride it to work, its that tidy"
To be fair i was distracted by a cool red Pye Tv for a fiver and it was cable tied by its wheels to the steel rafters 15 foot up. :-[

Excuses excuses excuses "nono" :-*

Stop fookin tormenting me and tell me what the fookin thing is >:(
I'm going back for it tomorrow :LolLolLolLol:

Sounds to me like some type of loopy, burnery thing with shiny forks & a stand mate
-
:LolLolLolLol:
Also had red rat traps, a steel chainguard and those hard looking grips that are just a load of circles overlapping each other :)
forks were like this but not diamondback

The frame sounds like a khalkoff spitfire, but I don't think they came with those forks.
-
Thanks but its deffo not a Kalkhoff. Its a catalogue/halfords type bike for sure but just "bmx" on the downtube aint much to go off :(

For £15 just go back and buy it theres no way you can lose. If you don't want it you can easily make your money back.
-
Do you know what that first bike is? besides the piranha style alloy mags the one i found is almost exactly the same :daumenhoch:
-
getting interesting, double dropout forks :chin: red white and blue stickers,(above) :chin: :LolLolLolLol: , be nice to see a few pics if it's not any of these ,
go and get it :daumenhoch:
-
Unfortunately I don't know the exact make of the first bike as all it says on the frame is "BMX".
It is very similar to the Iron Horse tho.
-
Went back to get it today and decided against it, even after a Christmas sort out the man cave is heaving with bits and i just cant face another bike at the mo. Anyway here's a pic, if anyone wants it and in the north west area pm me and i will give you the details of where it is :daumenhoch:
