Title: Deep scratch on Mx1000s Help please!
Post by: factory pilot on December 30, 2013, 09:53 PM
I've got a nice rear mx1000 blue anodized but it's spoilt with a deep scratch across it ....any ideas of how to disguise this/fill it in?
Is there some kind of stained glass effect paint ? Help please? :daumenhoch:

Cheers Ant

Whatever u do it will be seen, I recently did a suntour stem with of bit of blue glass paint. It looks much better but on close inspection u can still see the repair and always will.

just depends on how fussy you are really.  ;)

On closer inspection the calipers aren't half as bad as I thought.....

I managed to find an ancient thread that mentioned using humbrol no.52 metallic paint.

how good is this or is there anything better on the market now to match anno blue ?

Any tips ?
