Title: Forkin sorted
Post by: martin46 on January 04, 2014, 05:38 PM
I've been busy polishing, lacquering and applying decals today.
To these:
Curtis, undrilled, prototype forks. Decided not to paint or chrome, so as to show off the workmanship and beautiful brazing.

They're going to be used with a pro frame that Brian repaired for me last year.

There is no disputing the Curtis' quality, it would be sweet if you had a matching raw frame  :smitten:

I'm torn between getting the remaining chrome stripped and then polishing and lacquering it, or going gloss black. I have an OE set of gold on black decals for it and I really like some of the black painted builds I've seen recently. Would look really nice raw though.  :-\

Awesome. They look great. Looking forward to seeing a full bike. Gold rims and hubs might look good on that.  :daumenhoch:
