Title: restoration of some 82/3 tech 3s

hey guys i have a pair of survivor tech3 levers in blue they have some marks on them but they are not badly damaged can get these reworked  do i have to rub them down, i would like to anodise them gold lmk what you think

can this be done or would pay as much to resto them as to buy a set of gold tech 3 s

I would put an ad up in Trade for a Gold pair. Someone may like them Blue levers for a survivour build as they dont come up that often.  Just a thought. :)

yeh i spose thats an idea ive spoken to animal and he can re rivet the left one might be worth a go cheers for that

Lee, wet and dry the affected 'rash' areas to a smooth finish. You will have to remove the lever rivet as that cannot be anodised but you need to fit the body rivet before anodising.

There is no need to strip the original anodising either as they will do that prior to re-doing in your choice of colour  :daumenhoch:

A little bit of advice though, if you are taking the levers or posting them to the anodisers, send along another item in original gold finish to colour match to. Let them know you are sending item if you are posting to them to colour match though okay  :)

cheers tel so the small rivit missing on the left lever has to be replaced prior to sending of and the large silver ones need to be removed   ??? and sorry wet n dry what1500 or finer ???

I would start with 400, 800 , 1200 and then 1500, use soap and water, not washing up liquid
