Title: Repop Kashimax Aero's
Post by: Retrodan72 on January 12, 2014, 10:33 AM
Just a quick head's up guys.

I've seen that Alan's are now selling these in all colours. They are a few quid more expensive than moonster_99 is selling them for, but if you're in a hurry, you'll be able to spend the extra few quid and get it quicker from Alan.

I think keeping an eye on what Alan stocks is a must this year, if you're happy to put repop parts on your bikes. :daumenhoch:

I think you are right Dan but also how about having a an ongoing thread for the latest releases and where to get repop parts? It's a thread that could havefend /annoy the purists on here but for many of us it would be very useful especially for those of us on a budget or those happy to use such things on a rider?(or a hutch :LolLolLolLol:)
For example, Griff mentioned on another thread that Porkchop have re-released some more white dominators on a limited run ...I'm sure many people would be interested to know such info before they sell out.
A single thread could help everyone and ensure that Radsters get first dib dobs and don't miss out on limited runs.
Planet Bmx for example have some lovely repop white graphite skyways with proper campy gold hubs on them....

just some thoughts...whaddaya think?

Just to add I think it would be also good to inform people  if new products are out on the market so the less savvy of those amongst us don't get ripped off eg those new mongoose grips and official repop GT pad sets etc  8)

Any thoughts guys?

Sounds good Ant, we are always happy to listen to any suggestions from the RADsters, its their forum after all.  :4_17_5:

If I start another thread inviting members to show their interest in repop bits and where to get them, then we can gauge how much need there is to have a sticky in place. :daumenhoch:

Yep, good start, I'll need the valuable input from you guys though as I'm not a visitor/user of planet BMX, amongst others. :daumenhoch:

Just to be clear these are not repro as Kashimax have not stopped making them, they reduced the range to just black and the leather/seude ones and reintroduced colours in response to demand not only from bmxers but from keiron and fixie riders.

I think repro and copie parts are all part of bmxing because bitd we had all sorts of parts  on our  bikes when we were kids with little cash so im happy to know when  parts are around.
