They look like 80s single pinch full wrap arms, but the BB & the spindle look like modern ones.

I was under the impression that Redline started using this axle with sealed bearings in the late 80's  ???

Is that not correct then?

I run a new BB on my single pinches. As long as they are 6 spline they work fine.

It could be the correct axel, but I think they used techmatic BB like this

Early to mid 80's crank arms but the bb isn't. It would be imperial not 19mm so 3/4" ie 19.05mm...... :daumenhoch:

Metric = 19mm

Imperial 3/4" so 25.4 = 1" divided by 4 x 3 = 19.05mm

So very slightly bigger axel  :)

my 85 flights had double dimple with loose bearings, bought what was branded a flight group seled bottom bracket in late 80s early 90s, looks as the above but had plastic splines on the bearings, no more i'm afraid, only the original boxes left!!(and the dd threaded spindle)!!!

So a nice tight fit then on the crank arms with no chance of wear and tear ????

Sorry typed in a hurry.

The telematic is the right bb but won't fit a modern bb as the crank spindle would be 0.05mm too big so that would confirm if it was the correct one or not.

I recently sold one on a set of 1989 half wrap single pinchers So I found out the hard way when I tried to fit the spindle to a new bb..... :idiot2:
