Title: Anodising or Lacquer

Eh Up. these are my old SR Hubs, can anyone identify if its anodised or lacquered??

Also, where could i get em re done, and approx cost? any ideas chaps?

I would say painted and lacquered as anodising would just fade and not chip and flake.

not sure on where to get redo.

but there is a red glass paint that you could probably use.

i'm sure some of the others can better advise you :daumenhoch:

cheers mate, i was thinking same thing.
where they`ve chipped its alloy underneath. looks like some sorta cherry red clear coat cos the light sometimes catches the alloy underneath. id like to get em re done exactly same if i can find out what it is for deffo.

all SR hubs are painted,  probably because they wont anodise due to the metal content in the alloy,  SBD will be able to put a candy red finish on them that should look almost OE.   :daumenhoch:
