Just seen this on PH and though i would bung it up on here :daumenhoch:
For anyone who may be interested, Salford City College are running a 9 week evening course on bike frame building for beginners commencing Thurs 23rd Jan for 9 weeks.
It was scheduled to start this evening but due to some 'no shows' it has now been put back to next week - if a couple of replacements can be found.
The tubeset is for a lugged steel single speed road bike/fixie and the course is run by an ex pro rider.

Really fancy it but just too short a notice. :'(
I recon if you asked nicely they may let you make a brazed frame with bmx geometry ;)

Right, the Jedi Curtis thread has got me thinking about this again. I know initially they were struggling to fill the spaces (hence the revised start date)
What i'm thinking is if a couple of radsters got on the course it could be a right laugh :daumenhoch:
I'm going to give them a bell soon and sound out when the next course may start so does anyone fancy it?
