Were Nitto bars made from stainless steel?  :-\

Nitto were a Japanese company they made parts for Kuwahara's like Laser Bars and Laser Layback Seatpost amongst other things. I don't think they they were stainless though.

i've got some bars, that aren't alloy, but judging by where the grips have been they were never chrome, just clear coated. now i'm polishing them, were the coatings gone they look like a''used cutelry'' colour.  :-\ hhhhmmmmmmm

That would probably indicate nickel plated bars.

try a magnet on them Alan, stainless isnt magnetic
