Loved riding mine, I,d be tempted to look for the brake clamps for this. If you go down the caliper plate root, get one made out of steel or similar as un heat treated alloy will flex too much :daumenhoch:

I do have the original Hawk plate that mounts to the brakebridge but all my rides are brakeless!!!

Except for one that has drum brakes!!!

never dared to brakeless, the front end comes up nice on them too  :daumenhoch:
