Right lads, I'm starting to get a few parts together for the Patterson and I feel that there's a few bits I need where I will have to tread in to unknown territory (not repop)
I'm looking at getting an MX1000 caliper in gold, and wondered what sort if prices these fetch currently? ???
Cheers
Dan. :daumenhoch:

The ones I've seen have gone anything between 65 and 100 depending on condition blue and gold ones seem the most desirable colour

As I feared Glen, cheers for the reply Bud. :4_17_5:

DC calipers range dependent on condition and colour.
I have found over my limited time in this hobby that some colours go through 'fashionable' times.
Popular colours red/blue/black can fetch premium prices in NOS/Mint because they can go with lots of colour combos.
Gold, in my eyes, seem to be unloved unless somebody is building a Burner or SE (I'm sure there are other classic gold combos that escape me at the minute) and CAN be found at a lower price.
NOS DC MX1000 single calipers can range from £75-£100 at the mo, sometimes higher.
This is just my humble opinion and not a statement of fact.

Very true Nick. I remember maybe 18 months ago, that a few people were looking for gold calipers. The only ones that came up were selling for big money. I seem to recall that they haven't been selling as well recently - I'm sure I've seen a few for sale at reasonable (ish) prices lately that haven't made their asking price. Blue ones always seem to command a high price.
