Ain't that many with canti lugs Terry at all. A certain someone on here grabbed one on eBay not long ago complete though for £23 with og paint/deecs.
Them deecs are deffo the official S&M repops like though. Think there's only a couple on the Museum with canti-lugs :)
*edit* - that's Cru's old one from the Museum - you can see the left canti repair hidden just under the brake arm.
-
The seller says this about it.
"1994 S&M Holmes cantilever frame, S&M Pitchfork, BeartrapII headset, Peregrine stem stiffener and Onza cantilever brakes. This frame is one of 3 known to exist at this point. Through all of my research I have found out that these were team bikes handed out to sponsored riders."
He also states the decals are re-pops :daumenhoch:
Worth the $350 asking price ?? (£210)

That's what he paid for the frame only from Cru Terry:

Must say I'm ignorant when it comes to if they were only issued to team riders though - someone with a bit more knowledge hopefully will pipe in.
Rare - deffo, dunno if I'd pay that much for it though to be honest - purely a personal choice on my behalf though Tel as I prefer paint to chrome and if bagging another Holmes would prefer a MK1 or Murray Stay. Beautiful frame though :daumenhoch:

Nice one Dan, thanks for the info :coolsmiley:
I can't really grab this to be honest as I recently just bagged something very special ::) ;D
-
That's lovely. Could be the mk3r. I've seen a 1" dirtbike with canti lugs before but never a holmes.
I'd say thats a fair price considering it's rarity.
-
Thats so cool you cant beat a chrome 1" S&M. Im building a chrome dirtbike and trying to get my HAF back. :daumenhoch:
-
Rare, yes, lovely, most deffinately. Worth £210 plus import malarky, unlikely I would say but its what you think that counts bud :daumenhoch:

Beautiful,seems like a good deal
