But begins with a T ::)

:LolLolLolLol: you lot are the best, those pics :2funny:
Mr Dubber ;). I will get some pictures up later guys.
The Owner had this Torker MX from new in 1981 (33 years) and it's a complete dry stored survivor rider bike with all the bits, supplied by Alans in Hindley.
I have no doubt this bike will not take much elbow grease to get it looking bang on >:D
Uncle Joffrey..... 8)

Hope this works guys, if it does this is a total flooke... :LolLolLolLol:
1981 Torker MX 18.5" TT
Originally supplied from Alan's in Hindley, I bought it from the original owner and this is it just as it arrived.
It's got a Coaster brake, god help me the last one I had was on a Green Raleigh Striker in 1975...
Ive wanted one for quite some time, got the Pie set now Robbo & Torker. Radtor 3 sorted.. :4_17_5:

Now that's lovely Dazza :smitten:
You are a lucky man :)
Coaster brake eh ? better get practicing those coaster wheels ready for Radtor mate :daumenhoch:
Another choice selection from the Alans survivor collection :2funny:
-
Thanks Ant and well remembered I do have bikes originally supplied by Alan. They all start with the initial R apart from this one "bump"
My worry is when Barlow see's it with the coaster brake, not letting him on it he'll snap it like all his old bikes, his Gen 1 died a few times..

Cool as fook that Dazza. :coolsmiley:

Genuine Torker vinyl pads

Sugino cromo 175
Tuff neck chainwheel

Think it's a GT laid back post
Think these are early unstamped GT bars
Skyways with no brake pad wear

Absolutely great history as you say pal, glad you grabbed the other Torker 280x. "wantit".
Don't get to attached to it. "bump"
-
Jackpot!!! :4_17_5:
-
The Torkers stripped to the baring cups now and  came apart easily with no surprises or seizures.
Now for the cleanup, I have decided to keep the bike as it was albeit might change the 1pc cranks for a nice Shimano 600 I have already "bump". apart from that it will be cleaned serviced and kept as it has been for 33 years even with some battle scars here and there. I Can't change it. ....... :daumenhoch:
