Title: Rear Caliper Choice For An '83 Race Bike??
Post by: Retrodan72 on January 30, 2014, 07:04 PM: I'm guessing the most obvious choice would be an MX1000, but I'm not sure if my budget will stretch, we'll see. :-\

I just wondered what other alternatives others had used, from that era? ???

Those that know me, know my builds, no snobbery there. :LolLolLolLol:

I've had those repop MX1000's on my Haro FST, they're shoite.

The hardware is electroplated so a goldy colour, the MX is too small, but worst of all, they're impossible to set up and centralise. "nono"
