I completely agree with diggler and jon. I nearly had a punt on it but then saw the price. Wicked backstory to it though but yeah I have to say the price made me fart.

Yep - maybe 200 notes with a pedigree like that (and that's pushing it).

Got a DB same frame (91-92) as that off eBay the other year for about £45, double drop forks think I paid £65 for. Saying that though Alans frames in good nick, but 400 notes.....  :whistle:

I was with Alan when he pulled that out of storage and he mentioned selling it  ???

I asked him how much he wanted and was expecting him to say about £200 but he just shrugged his shoulders and said Who knows  ???  :chin:

I was gobsmacked when I saw it on his site and ebay for £400  :shocked:  :shocked:  :shocked:
