Title: building my wheels for my trls 250
Post by: newlovetattoos on February 10, 2014, 04:02 PM
the rim I won on ebay arrived the other day so I built it onto my midschool ss hub. the hub itself was pretty cream crackered so ive stripped it and rebuilt the insides and driver.
it used to be anodized black so I stripped it down. repaired the scuffs and dents as best I could (there are spoke indentations on the flanges that are too deep to anything with) and polished it all up myself (hours of polishing)

I laced it all up in 3 cross for a change (I usually do 4cross but I was feeling fruity today) and trued it up all within an hour whilst watching allo allo. ready to rock and roll with it on my trls 250 that I bought off olly on here. not far off now so complete bike pics to follow soon

Skillz.  I love building wheels and seeing them come together especially when you get them near perfectly true. Great satisfaction  :daumenhoch:

I was lucky today, I didn't miscount any spaces between spokes :D. more pictures will follow when I make more progress
