Question chaps, should i re build my wheels with the og spokes or get new ones? They were chrome plated originally, but are rusty, flaked, pitted etc, gave them a citrus acid bath and cleaned one up with wet n dry, theyll come up really good wi LOTS of work. (done one for test)
Im bothered they`ll just go rusty again pretty quick.
Thoughts? Anyone here resto`d knackered spokes???

fook that, buy new ones! :LolLolLolLol:

Yarp - they sound like waaay too much work. Get new uns.
Handy tip though if you're restoing stainless - wine cork with a single notch cut in one end. Run the cork up and down the spokes and bobs your uncle.

When you have done 10 come back on this thread and say ' I have decided to buy some new ones '' :D ;)
