You'd be hard pushed to find another of the same spec and condition Chris. :coolsmiley:

I know there will be some on here that won't appreciate it, but it's an iconic bike.

Lovely mate. :daumenhoch:

Bloody hell, that's off the corner near the shop back in `81!!!

bet you daren't touch the grips, they fell apart when new!!

Its the only standard burner I'd ever want, purely iconic, even though my first was an early mk1 super tuff.

Love it.

Wow "wantit", just looking at those pictures takes me right back to the early 80's looking at the Burner's in my mums Kay's Catalogue(amongst other things ^"^). I always wanted one of those as well as the Super Tuff burner, my mate ended up getting the Super Tuff and i opted for the Extra Burner >:(

Top marks on such an iconic bike :Great_Britain:   :4_17_5:

I wondered about that just whether it was  just early production  , Did they drop the coaster anchor after a a few months , when the realised they weren't  going to supply bikes with coaster brake ?  ???
Maybe  Beard or Glynny can shed some light

Or do they all have em   :LolLolLolLol:

Chris, I'm not sure the chrome one will have the coaster tab as they were a later introduction to the Mk1 range (phase II/1983).

The major differences in phase I & II were;

Snake bellies replaced by Cheng Shin Comp III's
Vinyl pads with pop studs replaced with nylon and Velcro
No coaster tab
Seats were also changed from MX type to multiple holed BMX 'Aero' type.
