Ladder bars on ebay over 350 in 4 hours got 6days 20 hrs to go !!!!!!! :pilky:
-
Or is it just everyone who's got a set having a cheeky bid to increase the value of their own??
Lets be realistic, there's only a handful of collectors that will stay interested in these now, the remainder will already be out but will watch to see what they go for, to gauge what their own are worth, potentially.
If these go for £500, I wouldn't mind betting that a few more turn up on there soon when people decide they want to cash in.
I bet the seller has had the life pestered out of him tonight with snipers trying to force him to end them early.
-
My sniper was set but it has exceeded my max bid now so I am just watching. I will not be cashing in mine for any amount of money as it has taken years to lay my hands on them.

Fair play to you Brett, you've got roots and association with DP, but you can tell by the way some people talk on that FB DP group that they'd offload them tomorrow for the right price.
Kappy always used to tell me that everyone had a price.
-
Shyte bars as well, should rename them 'bang your knees' bars ;)
-
Good for getting into your loft, or re-tiling the roof.
-
The bars are torker micks along with the dp one off freestyle frame and forks. :daumenhoch:
-
Arrrrrrrrrhhhhh
Just rub it in one more time about me giving my set to my brother about 10 years ago as I didn't know what they were :uglystupid2: :LolLolLolLol:

They're in the safest of hands Spen.
I chatted with Mick earlier, and these are all genuine bids, so I stand corrected for my cynical view. :-[
-
Yep, Mick phoned me this morning and couldn't believe the bids and messages he was getting.
-
Might be a change of plan on my Trickstar now with prices like that. :LolLolLolLol:
-
now £420  :LolLolLolLol:

How come the bids for the F&F are going up and down ?
Are people retracting bids because the price of the bars is to high,to complete the package ?

ive been told that some people just bid to see how high they have to go to win them. then they retract the bid :yahoo_silent:
the reasons they give ebay are "they entered the wrong amount" .
but it could be because of the bars aswell.

I wouldn't be disheartened by the f/f activity Mick, I doubt very much if they've run out of steam just yet. :daumenhoch:

My prediction on bars is between 5-600 quid and between 4-500 for F&F
👍

Nice one Mick.
Just think how much they could've gone for if you'd listed them to finish this coming Sunday night with pay day on Friday.
Just sayin' :LolLolLolLol:

The JMC FAB bars are the Cruiser bars I believe and if so, that's a good start price. Real Handlebar lunacy is VDC Cruiser Monkey bars or JMC AP bars at $2K a pop.

Guy on here's won em sure he,ll make himself known to you soon well done mick !!!!!!!

Nice one Mick. You could buy something really nice with that amount of cash  >:D :coolsmiley:
-
I'd have to take a long hard look at my life if I had that money spare to spend on bmx handlebars.

Ed, you and I joke about many things brother, but I could not agree more. I have got close to spending that on some very rare framesets (still got 2 of them) but a set of bars does seem a bit excessive.......
And Mick, stand by your post-box mate. I'd say tomorrow though as it didn't leave until last night from the main post office I'm guessing. Of course up here we still use pony & trap for the first hundred or so miles until we get somewhere with those fancy automobile thingymajigs........ :2funny:
