I think John would struggle in 40+ today Kev. I used to race the guy behind E20 Brian Neville at club races and beat him easily. I know that i was 18 at the time and he was about 45-46, but i can't even make regional finals in 40+ now.

Raleigh had there Quarter pipe leaning on there truck, Andy Ruffell and Mick Brown were doing TV stuff as the UK pro`s were on strike!!. happy days

Post by: martin1970 on December 11, 2008, 09:50 PM: Great days - got knocked off in the quarters by a french man, and second in the pre-worlds a week before behind Andy Welsh, who won the week after!. A few of us Hounslow boys bunked off school for about a week to help build that track. Great pictures.
