Just got this back from an alloy wheel refurb company - they stripped off a really poorly done powdercoat completed by the previous owners. They even managed to take the chrome of the triangle which was a bummer.
In taking it back to a nickel coat (what the previous owner had done over over the first chrome job which had pitted and rusted) I've found the frame doesn't have any REDLINE or date stamps.
Is this usual for Redline? The forks have the usual Redline oval?

Hmmmm :-\
It should be stamped on the bottom of the BB shell :-\
I'm sure my mate's chrome one is stamped there.

Should have a number or letters & numbers un bb shell.
Not all have a stamp.
Looks like a 85 or 86.
Get it built.
Then sell it to me!!!

My RL20 84 Prostyler has RD + numbers on the underside of the BB sheel
The RL20ii 85 Prostyler has nothing
both front forks have the redline oval stamped into the steerer tube.
