Title: Newbie
Post by: tdmsk10 on March 12, 2014, 11:13 PM
Hello all.
Having been trawling through all the posts and bikes I have been reminded about my joyful younger years and have been reminiscing about my old bikes. Which I still have.
Question is, do I restore or do I pass on to enthusiasts?
I have a 1983 Supergoose III in blue, the one with the ProClass components.  Great memories on this BMX.  And it's in great conditions really. Just need to replace pedals to original (which I still have anyway), and maybe source a pad set (not come across the originals yet).
My second BMX is a Diamond Back Silver Streak.

None of these bikes have been touched since putting into storage back in 1986!!
Little worries that I might get bitten by the bug and spend all my spare time workin on these beauties.

I'll get some pics up soon.

Hopefully will get some tips of all you guys too!

..or into a strong headwind.  :welcome to RAD . Get those bikes and get some photos up! There's a guide at the top of the welcome page on how to post photos using photobucket. Quite a few members use tapatalk to upload their photos via their phones.

here's a tip

if you still have your old bikes from your youth DON'T SELL THEM unless you really, really need the money
you'll regret it

get some pics up though and watch out for rideouts in the events section (and MK!) - plenty going on and usually a great laugh
