Title: Pro class rims?
Post by: oldschoolace on March 14, 2014, 02:03 PM
Anyone know the difference in price between pro class rims and stock arayas?
We have all seen the home brew attempts but was in a machine shop today and out the corner of my eye I saw a lad doing a set on a nice bit of accurate machinery.

Would it be worth someone's while to go to this trouble and try and pads them off as original pro class?   ???

The original Pro-Class rims were simply drilled Araya 7X rims, I had a couple of pairs that you could see the 'Araya' engraving on them.

Yep that's why I asked, if they were done in a machine shop would anyone be able to tell the difference?
There was one than one set of rims leaning against the machine  ???

the originals were'nt that accurate, i made a set from porkchop rims that are probably more accurate than my real ones.
