I have a PK4 (1981 ?) serial PK Ripper which I initially thought someone had clear laquered a ball burnished one BITD ,, but it turns out its actually chrome plated .
Incidentelly this is a total survivor with non shadow rub on like decals .
I have seen chrome 1984Quadangle before but not Rippers. ???
Anyone know of others ? :)

never heard of chrome rippers before  got a picture :daumenhoch:

Thai copy sadly, there was also a Mexican copy I believe too. Think Sean Ewing has the prototype copy "if there is such a thing". I'll try and find it.

Just like this frame :-\

Yeah that's what I kind of thought with the bubbling etc, SE didn't do it anyway.

That last bike pic looks to have a snidely gusset and thinner seat and chain stays ,, just going off the pic .
I've no doubt of the the integrity of authenticity of this frame ,, just the history of finish. :)
So if there wasn't any limited number of Rippers in chrome ,, what about the Chrome (Reynolds) Quadangle JT on here used to have ,, was that not factory finish ? ???
