I have left a set of araya aero rims in to get rebuilt,i left the wheel builder small hubs,194mm spokes,but he is saying that there too long,and he will only lace in 3x because 4x will be on top of the spoke bit at the flange,so basically what size of spoke do i need then to get,i cant measure the hubs as they are down in the shop with the rims or do i just tell him to do 4x as 194mm is the correct size etc. any idea's guys :daumenhoch:

I did my araya aero's 4X to small flange Suzue hubs = 190mm ;)

Never done any aero's 3X Graham ..... you would have to use Stidds spoke calculator in the tech and resto stickies ;)
I'd have a guess at 184mm but you really don't want to be guessing mate :D

I was guessing with the wheel builder lol he said be no point guessing,he owns a shop near me and he was hoking out old school stuff gt pro series mini still in the wrapper how much would u say it be worth,and a cracker set of white gt hubs and a few set of araya aero rims that he never knew he had,& he has a blue set somewhere might see if i can strike a deal up with him :D :daumenhoch:
