Title: What are skyway rivets made of?
Post by: oberonspacefruit on March 20, 2014, 04:24 PM: 1. stainless
2. alloy
3. mild steel.

if they were mild steel, surely they would rust unless they were annodized, which is impossible when they are fitted to the nylon.

stainless- no rust, but dear for a business material.

Aluminium- my guess, but ive never stripped one, so it is a guess...is aluminium strong enough?

Yes i will gladly re-rivet for a small fee any tuffs that people want
Shipping is the limiting factor as im in Australia.

I've a mate in LA who's back in Australia once a year (i'm East coast US) and i'll give him my Tuffs to bring over.

plus what ever shipping cost are
i prefer no axles or guts get sent to me its lighter to ship with out and it means i cant lose parts
