After collecting buying and selling bikes since 2001 and owning some rare and expensive bikes and spending a small fortune on bikes like Nomuras, Trickstars, Slingshot, Kuwie Exhibitionists etc etc I have now bought a POS a Piranha with the heavy steel Banana Mags.
I have to say I am more excited and looking forward to restoring the Piranha than I have been about anything in years.
My question is should everyone own/have at least 1 POS in there collection????
Whats your thoughts.........

Yes!!!! For me it's all about memories, bikes we had as kids and those we wanted but our parents couldn't afford, the ones our fave racers rode or hours spent droolin over the ads in mags.
Not really a POS, love it, especially as it's still wearing it's Grimsby dealer sticker but by god it's heavy!!

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm.
up to you, its your collection.
not for me.
i had a tuff burner, and whilst it would be an alright idea to have one, i cant be arsed, as i fooking hated it first time round and couldnt wait to see the back of it and get something better.
i did love it, for about 20 mins till i arrived at our local 'track' and some kids has better bikes, and it was unloved from that moment onwards.
my shitter is my kuwie nova. I had one after the burner, i have one the same now, and its ace. got better bikes but thats my POS.

Most of my bikes are POS's. :daumenhoch:

POS bikes are the best ones I own, I have my Yamaha and Scorpion, neither of them cost my parents much bitd as we were pretty poor.
However they both hold more affection than any of the Mongoose, Skyway, Slingshots etc etc I have owned.

I have a couple of shitters and I love um :smitten:
:LolLolLolLol:

Some say all of mine are but you've gotta love a POS
-
My first bmx was a mk1 super tuff. I loved it until I rode my mates Torker. Managed to pick up a Pro burner frame that felt a massive step up but, when getting my Torker, you knew instantly how sh!te the burners were.
I wouldn't waste my money on building a burner as I know it would be just that, a waste.

Not for me, never had one bitd and never had one since.

I think most people will have started out with a pos I know I did
A cycle pro , so for me it's a must have esp if it was a pos you started out on :daumenhoch:

All down to personal choice and personally speaking, no.

NOT! :LolLolLolLol:

If i didn't have this i'd be denying my roots, as my parents were kind enough to buy me one of these BITD I wouldn't have been able to get in to BMX at all.
It's lovely to have & to build top end bikes, but honestly since i build this i've realised that this probably means more to me ( than anything else i either own or have owned) & its the only one i ride.
