83 Laserlite built as Summer Rider, the Laserlite was always my grail bike from back in the day so dead chuffed to have finally got my mitts on one. :smitten:
Originally got this off Stu27 (http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,164979.msg1649299.html#msg1649299) last year. Made a few subtle changes and additions to get her 'just so' and a little bit different from all the black and chrome builds out there (no offence!)…
Frame/Forks: Tange made KZ-83 (Oval tubes without Kuwahara stamp on the rear dropouts, has one on the rear brake bridge though)
Bars: Stamped Laserbars
Post: Stamped Laserpost
Stem - Chrome Suntour Power Stem
Grips - Yellow Oakley B2
Seat - Yellow Elina Lightning Bolt
Seat Clamp - Suntour
Brakes - NOS MX900 Caliper, NOS Tech III Lever & NOS Skyway Pro Pads (via Mr Gnarlyscoots)
Cranks: Suntour VX 170mm with Gold Suntour Chainring
Pedals: NOS Chrome MKS BM-15 (9/16") - I've still got the XC-II's she came with but memories of shin based carnage from back in the day meant they were a no-no for a rider…
Rims: Gold Araya Shiny Sides (1.75 f & r)
Hubs: Gold Suzue
Tyres: Mitsuboshi Comp III Green Label (1.50 f & r)
Pads - White Kuwahara (Cali Lite)
Plate - Uni Turbo Airdam

Love it! As sweet as the factory-spec black and chrome ones are, it's nice to see something a little different and this hits the mark for me! If mine comes out anywhere near as nice I'll be well-chuffed:- http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,170336.0.html
