I've noticed that with the yungsta's one side or the other for pegs, thats not how we did it, why do they do it?

Nice ride by the way!!

pegs are more for grinding and peg stalls nowadays on one side of choice, some 'free stylers' and flatlanders still have pegs all round

Hey, took me a while to work that out too, it's the front caliper. You can see by comparing it to this pic here. Thanks for the thumbs up  :daumenhoch: . I'll post some more when I get her and clean her up :D

aha i see its a caliper now

a detangler is a "gyro"
for some reason they aint so popular now. but i'd leave it on.
but then my bikes aint exactly the height of fashion :(

as for the pegs, ALL flatlanders have pegs all round
depends on what sort of riding you are gonna do. if you just have the 2 pegs, fit them to your "grind" side - usually on the outside when you do an aerial (or kickturn!) if you are not sure which side to run them

i think the main reason for not running 4 pegs is the weight of the things.

Try not to use steel wool if possible. It wont help your rust problem in the long run. Try to find aluminium wool. Most supermarkets have them. Or copper. Polish it up using Autosol or Glymms. Mothers metal polish is good too. Or you could throw the whole frame in a bathtub full of Oxalic acid. It wont harm the stickers and disolves the rust. I've used it and it's brilliant (pun intended)  :LolLolLolLol:

That's a nice bike, powerbend bars too. I agree about the pegs and detangler, it looks like a racebike that's been part-converted. It would look perfect as pure race, but that's just my opinion.

I'll have to look for some aluminium or copper wool, never knew about that.
Fine steel wool rusts almost immediately I've noticed, I can see why you wouldn't want to introduce any fine particles into any nooks & crannies on a frame.
I did buy a wire brush and had to stop using it because it was turning my forks a copper colour.
Cheapo brush, so it was most likely a residue from the copper coating on the bristles.

I now use a pair of scissors to cut pieces off a pad of course steel wool. Hadn't had a problem before, but that course stuff is like razorwire.

Off topic, but I can remember someone calling them a pair of scissor (in the singular). Maybe it's correct.
Sort of like when you go into a suit shop and they ask you if you want a trouser.
No, I want to cover both legs, thanks.

Nice

yea wire wool can really help a frame rust and does some harm to nice chrome. i have found wonder chrome to be spot on in the cleaning stakes , and it comes with a sealer

Rich :)
