I eventually got a vitus i have been after,i was wondering if any of you guys would know where to get the spec of the bmx etc
cheers :daumenhoch:
-
What do you want to know? The Vitus was a frame and forks not a complete bike so basically whatever you want.
-
i had the peugeot duralinox when i was a young guy,but thought that perhaps vitus might have had a complete bike, now i got to think of a sweet color scheme to go with the blue of the frame :daumenhoch:
Cheers Stidds :police:

As above Seans stidds and mine are the only ones I've seen there's the team Peugeot badged ones like mine and the vitus ones mine is all original from new and has wolber tyres which are French and arayas with a French brand of Hub and a Weinmann bmx rear brake mine had been in a transport museum from new so I'd exactly as it was when new but as above basing it on what Sean says maybe it was built up rather than to a spec , well done getting one and they are really nice and rare to see

I'll use this to post some unnecessary pics of mine 😄👍

Cheers glenboy :daumenhoch: it was the peugeot one i was after but there more or less exactly the same in everyway, the peugeot one i had was all silver/aluminum colour with the red decals, well i paid a good bit for F&F crank headset, stem, brake, even cost me extra to get the original forks coz he wanted to give me tange forks, but to me what i paid is all worth it to have one,as they are so rare :daumenhoch: love your vitus looks top quality :D

It did go stupidly light at one stage as I wanted to see how low I could get a pro sized bike, Just under 17lb was the lightest I could get without drilling stuff.
I love the forks, even though they have the craziest rake ever.
-
all the bandits i ran about with all said my forks were fooked and were going to snap, they never did believe me thats the way they were, got to look for all the super light stuff now for it,cant even remember what i all had on the first one i had, then it got bloody stolen from my parents garage :'( fookers ....great bike aswell stidds, you still got it?
-
here it is the one i got, except for wheels, handlebars, seat&post

Looks good look forward to seeing it built up is it coming over from France looking at the other bikes there's a lot of motobecanes so I'm giessing he's French

yeah ah really decent guy,he had really no intention of selling so he said if he was it would be such & such etc so i said about headset/stem/brake which is different from the pic/crank/pedals....so he said a price so i took it right away ::) ....he has some collection of them moto's some really cool ones....now i need to think of all the lightest stuff to put on it etc.
cheers :daumenhoch:
