I don't know anything at all about new BMWs, but I bought one tonight and got another thrown in free. Can anyone tell me anything about them?
First up, a big daddy rooster, the reason I bought these bikes was for the skyway wheels from this one.

Also I got this other one thrown in free, I don't even know what this one is, but it has a Haro stem. I am wondering if it's a new Haro?

The Haro looks like an F2. I think start of the serial number might tell you the model.

Late to the party, I can't find a reference to that serial to Haro, but the info was incomplete, an F2 starts F2 so it's not one of those, does it have chevrons stamped like the drops or the gusset plate on the downtube near the steerer end

If you are on a budget avoid the 4 cylinder models and always go for a 6 potter ;)

Bloody predictive spell! Funnily enough we have a 4 pot compact here, had a 6 pot e30 325i, wicked motor.

I first noticed Haro on the neck.

Jaymz, after a bit of looking I have found another Haro logo on a plate on the top tube, but I still have no idea what model it is.

I'd have a look on the museum at post '08 bikes

doesn't really matter what model it is, get it on gumtree, you'll get £60.
The tuffs are the only good thing on the top one, but even the pikeys know that now. you don't see that many around with the proper tuffs on, the recent ones have the utility skyways.
hope you didn't pay more than £100 for the pair, because thats your break even point!

Cheers Jaymz, I have been reading that serial numbers should contain the year its made
NX3W9F0237
No idea what year that would be, can't see a year there, apart from maybe 02

Paid £45 for the pair, so if I can take the skyways off, chuck some old burner wheels on and sell the pair and make my money back or even a little more I would be happy.

Full spec, but no idea if its good or not, I don't know if the parts are good or bad.

Not great - the Haro's are low-end hi-ten completes but good kiddy starter bikes so like the Munster says, gerrit stuck up on Gumtree for £60. Just had a mate sell a mint one on there for a ton.
