So, :) :) :) ;D ;D :) :) :) - pretty much sums me up right now
After numerous conversations and literally 4 or 5 solid days or searching - the kind people at Billies Bikes Cambridge got back to me with this which arrived this afternoon.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to get back to me and offered me potentials - much appreciated... i think its fair to say that people, deep down dont want to let go of these frames and to be honest....... rightly so!! :) - it was pretty hard to find... or should i say harder than I initially imagined....
Although my dream bike of 98 was a beater of the same year.... Im more than happy with this 03 model... which I to believe to be one of the last model they made...
Back in 98 the Beater was my dream bike and back then as a 16 year old paperboy - money was tight and the chance of the old dear giving me 700 quid to spend on a BMX to do said paper round was pretty low!! fair enough...

...16 years later the above has arrived and the project begins. next step - the build
The plan is to build the bike as i would have back in 98 as a 16 year old..... so, profile cranks, Araya Super 7x's, AD990's ect....
anyways... any thoughts comments and suggestions welcome
Cheers
Beaterman!

Ha ha.... Yeussss mate! Excellent shout! Totally forgot about the Fat Bob's..... And I totally would have put them on too as a 16 year old...... Either those or the fishbone sushi's...... I was a bit stupid after all :pilky:
Fat bobs on the list..... :daumenhoch:
Any other suggestions?

Actually mate - wernt the Fat Bob bars flatland bars?
-
they where a bit flatlanderish, but pretty sure the beater of the time had them too.....bit like phil dolan bars, in that although they may have been made for one thing, they felt super nice for most freestyle riding
-

next step... who's got some i can buy! ;)

Ive got a pair of Hoffman low drag 2 for sale or a set of sushi bars
