been offered a set but been told 2 allen bolts missing from end of pedal arms are they essential look like they may screw into pedals that are threaded or am i wrong (again) basically can i ride em without em, or can i source em easy enough

Yes I know what you mean Jono no they are not essential  they just lock in to lock the pedals in I think I think my dxs have 1 missing but it doesn't really do owt

that'll do me cheers lads thought they were a bit of a gimmick thing long as i can ride em on the meets thats all that matters dont want lenny n nick swan giving me evn more shit when my cranks fall apart  :LolLolLolLol:

oh them allen key bolts jono,  I thought you meant the ones that screw into the spindle.   :crazy2:

the ones you mean are not essential but you will have constant problems with the big nut coming undun that it screws up to,  as I did....

I might be interested if you feel the need to pass on to me....     :coolsmiley:

they will be used a couple of times a year depending on how many rides i take this particular bike on so i think i'll risk it

Be carefully about how much you tighten up that pedel boss nut,  as it easily splits...   :'(
