Title: hub guards
Post by: paulb113 on May 06, 2014, 05:45 PM
I am going to try and learn how to grind on my new school bike. thinking of getting hub guards? Are they pretty much all the same? Also last time I tried them I was catching chainwheel,is there a cover or,replacement chainwheel to save damaging chain, chainwheel? I may look out for a LHD hub, crank?

Thanks :daumenhoch:

If you favour hopping up and grinding on the right-hand side of yer bike then go LHD. Either pick up a LHD rear hub or grab a G-Sport Ratchet (which you can swap the pawls round to go LHD or RHD). No need for new crank arms/running your existing crank LHD as well if you buy yourself a spline drive sprocket.

Also get a hub guard for the rear that fits your hub - or grab some G-Sport glands which attach to your spokes.
