I dont have a scooby what this means in inches, do I need a 1 1/8 " gyro?
thanks alot peeps ;)
-
you need a 1 1/8" ufo, if you have a clamp on stem (99 times out of 100 - there are the odd 1" clamp on combo knocking around)
what you have is a 1" threaded, so you need a 1" ufo. so long as it fits over the headset cup you will be ok. dont forget to fit the bit under the cup though ;)
-
sorry took so long to reply mate had to go take another pic. yea I think I do have a clamp on the stem man, is this what it is?:

the bit of metal on the bottom?
cheers, Nick
-
a clamp on stem doesnt have a shaft coming off it
yours does! its a 1" to go on a threaded fork
-
ok cool, so do I NEED to use a 1" gyro or can I get away with a 1 1/8"? thanks alot for your time man!
peace
-
a 1 1/8" would work but it might flap about a bit.
get a 1"
-
that gyro should be 1" i have a fair few but they do fit 1" and 1 1/8 as ive fitted them to both
-
okay thanks alot guys, so since this is(as im told) a rotor, will it only do the front break? or is there any way that it can do the front and back? if you need more pics of anythoing just let me know, peace
-

haha ok thanks man, you got a nice lil workshop there lol quite a few ufo boxes :P
-
looks like you have cantis on the front
if you have cantis/v's on the back, i dont think a gyro will work
-
oooo no not cantis .if there is a hole like on conventional bike you could put a brake plate on then afix a u brake
-
im welll confused guys lol, can someone simplify it for me a bit? lol thanks
-
I like your black bike in the picture, harris. :smitten:
