Hi all,
Just wondered if you guys know anything much about this GT/Dyno that I've got. It seems to be in fairly good condition, but I don't know anything about it to be honest. I bought it off a mate about 6 years or so for £50, that's about all I know tbh! I don't think it's particularly credible as the frame's pretty weighty.

Any further info would be much appreciated :D

Peeps are wary of replying to threads like this as more often than not they're just about getting the bike appraised before flogging it on and not adding anything to the community. Not saying that that's what you're doing, just pointing out why you probably didn't get any replies.
Dyno looks to me to be a real late 90's/early 2000's one.

Ah, I understand, okay Danny. I've got no interest in selling it on to be honest. I just have absolutely no idea what it is (beyond a GT/Dyno) and I'm just intrigued as to how well they're thought of in the community, and really just to find out a bit more about it.

They're not amazing and they're not real bad. Basically think of em as a bit of a weighty beginners bike from back then - ideally suited for early teens. That's not to say I don't like Dyno btw - just their bikes weren't the greatest in the late 90's...
Your (I think) is a 2000/1 Dyno Compe complete ;)
