A good mate of mine said he wanted to build the Bmx he had as a kid. After a lot of messing trying to remember exactly what he had , we finally realised it was a chrome burner. He worked in a bike shop and swapped and changed , as we all did bitd. I had a f&f along with a lot of the other stuff in the garage , so he set about building. Along the way he decided he'd rather put this or that on it instead but I persuaded him to build an exact replica as It would mean more.
Here it is, not to everyone's taste, but I thought it was cool that he kept to his original...

Chrome Burners always look cool. Well done :daumenhoch:

Top stuff! Black tuffs and white walls were just THE coolest combo BITD
-
Liking the decal colours against the chrome - very nice

Nice one Mark , turned out well . I bet he is glad he listened to you and built a replica of his bike from bitd now 8)
Tell your mate he needs a Yamaha 501 next ..... much rarer than a DB ;) :D

We spoke about the next and the Db signifies the era for him. The idea that it's what you wanted ,but couldn't afford ;)
