Looks great, I'd be careful with that seat post (aside from not really suiting it) as it will put a fair amount of stress on the frame. I'd go with a straight post ;)
-
Love these frames :smitten:
Looks like you have got the hang of the polishing lark on the cranks 8) Just don't get carried away and polish everything in site now Graham :D , it's nice to keep some stuff to a satin finish aswell ;)
Nice one mate :daumenhoch:
-
Lovely frames these and I'd echo Marty on the post.
Not keen on the single coloured tyres but top work mate :daumenhoch:
-
Liking the look of that :daumenhoch: and I also like the blue font Dominator.
but, I would also say the same on the tyres and post :D
-
Cheers guys all comments took onboard :D will post updates of adjustments in a bit :daumenhoch:
-
Curious mix of parts, but nonetheless, tres bien.
I like a vitus. :daumenhoch:
-
Great to see something different, always ogled these as a lad bitd, banging :daumenhoch:
-
Cool build looks good with all the blue on it,but as others have said, straight seatpost and some Gumwalls or skinwalls in black would improve it no end .
Your build though,if you like it,go with it!! :4_17_5:
-
Here we go seat & post changed and tyres or like olly says what about black gum/skinwalls ?

I was going through some old mags yesterday and came across a feature about a sub 15lb build, it was a red Vitus with Hutch decals and forks  must say it looked the dogs

Will do but I'm not gonna be able to get to the mag till Monday as I've got a few days off with the kids ;)
-
Cool no worries steve,thanks :daumenhoch:
-
GT Pro or CW bars would look good.
-
:4_17_5: great build,
the changes are spot on :daumenhoch:, unsure on the tires would try black tan walls, bars imo, look a little out of proportion to the bike, a little big, perhaps some ally bars with bolt on cross bar? would be in keeping with the f+f's unique design ? would mean leaving white seat and chain ring though, although the brake cables would tie them in ? :LolLolLolLol: never ending i suppose
-
I had renthals on mine bitd. Not a conscious choice, just what i carried over off the previous frameset. They weren't pro size though, i would have been about 12 or 13 so probably a size down, whatever they were called.
-
Renthals would look good sand with being alloy as well
-
I think i will look for a set of good bars now, thought i would just put them bars on coz they were white lol am a walley at times :crazy2: :D

Thats a very nice set up there steve :daumenhoch:

2 Derby riders at the Greyhound Stadium used to ride them Shaun Spencer and Andy Pass. Both pretty powerful riders but I was never sure about those frames as a race bike seeing as they were glued together. Other than that they are a good looking frame and forks.
