Title: SR MTP 100 / 110 pedal colours and spindles??

Hi all,

Did these come in various colours or just black (with silver bodies)? I have just bought a pair to restore but I've only ever seen them with black cages??

I can only recall seeing them in black but they may have done colours.

Still only seeing these in black so far....

Anyway, I have managed to get my hands on a lovely pair (MATRON) but they are in 1/2inch thread, and ideally i'm after 9/16th. So, my question is are there any other spindles that are interchangeable with these? Other SR variations maybe??

9/16 axles for these pedals are rare as hens teeth.

I've a 1/2" pair and always wondered if it was possible to use another set of pedals too.

The Japanese were/are big into parts standardisation so I'll bet you can it's just finding which ones are compatible.

SR catalogues for the same year these were available might shed some light, probably find a set of pedals with sealed bearings for a road bike use the same axles.

Seems odd that nobody has come up with a solution/swap-out option already.....

Lovely pedals though  :)
