After more than one year of discussing and research to realize a nice trade , I finally have the hapiness to score this JMC Andy Patterson frameset ... AP44 is still alive ! Thanks to Eric to ad this one to my collection and Spartacus for his help . Here 's the pics when I scored the frameset few months ago ... It was owned by a good friend here in Belgium and he was the first owner. He raced this frame with other decals applied because he was sponsored by the Belgian brand " minerva" back in the days ... Originaly white , it was after painted with green car color and few years later spayed bomb like you see ... and stocked in the garage of an other guy who get back to my friend after more than 20 years ...

After some questions to the 1 st owner , the frameset has been bought in Belgium but it seems the shop ordered the US stuff in UK to Hot wheels ...

Work in progress ... New powdercoat with NOS decals ( thanks to NORCAL BOYZ ) , rechromed profile cranks , meticulous polishing of Hutch stem , Nos Hutch pro pedals , NOS blue Tange 300 heaset , Mint dia compe MX 1000 , Sunshine hubs laced to NOS Ambrosio rims and nice survivor Kashimax Aero ... So excited for the next steps ... Still in need of the Darrell Young bars ( I prefer this one than the AP )

That's gonna be a great looking build :coolsmiley:
What bar choice have you settled for as AP bars are so scarce (or did a set come with the frame set?) ??

Thanks ! :)
For the choice of the bars , I prefer the DY bars ( I still looking for one ) . For me , it's one of nicest bars ever made . The Ap seems to me too big and I don't like the crossbars ... and also I don't like to build a bike with full factory specs ???

Very nice Christoph "wantit"

An 84 AP is too early for AP bars anyway ... i'd like to trade my 84 AP for an 85.
Nice set up

As above a dy frame or ap is still on my wish list , top thing and I think white is one of the best colours for it , love the forks on the ap , mega mean a thumbs up all round

Italian made , used by factory pilot like Mike Miranda , Greg Hill , ... 83-86 period I think ;)
