cheers guys :daumenhoch:

a few parts were to good to use so had to be aged

here's the chainring before i sanded, spray bombed, hit with a hammer and then sanded again

(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/1003/escrs/DSC_01621_zps9977db05.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/escrs/media/DSC_01621_zps9977db05.jpg.html)

the chain was pretty much brand new and i couldnt find a rusty one so i put it into some water with a vinegar and salt mix, then ran a electric charge through the chain using a car battery for a hour, took it out and hung it up to dry and rust!!

the tech77 was the only right hand one ive got and i couldnt have a locking button on a race bike so i cut it off, its a japan stamped one too :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

Danny serial is hxl 2092

Alex has (or had) a list of Holmes serials, as per for S&M serials (other than the reeeeal early ones) from memory there's not a lot of coherence to em (although if you ask over on a US site they'll definitely be able to tell you exactly what year your S&M was made *note hints of sarcasm*  ;) ).
