Looks like it would be very fiddly to weld, given how tight those little crevices are :teef:
How would you get the welds all the way around each tube? Would you attach the headtube after doing the other bits? (or just not weld all the way around each tube join)

Mmmmm tight crevices :smitten:

knew that would get your attention, you mucky get :teef:

seen this on Facebook, as i commented, My minty Orig USA frame forks and woody itson bars cost me £750
I bet these will be twice that much so I don't think they will be a big seller
I would rather have the real thing
-
yes but these will be built with modern geometry and have ridable top tube lengths of 21" or so. i don't think they will be anywhere near that much. You can get Standard to make a custom one for about £500 so why would they charge more?
maybe a frame and fork package would be about that but i guess if you want a ridable frame built on a classic style then it looks ace!
would be well cool kept raw and clear coated
-
i like how the headtube looks like it has tange cups fitted.
-
I have mixed feelings about retro bikes but I can make an exception in this case. That's Xmas sorted for the missus ;)

HUTCH site says should be done for around October/November just in time for her to buy you one :daumenhoch:
As John says, i like the way they've made the internal bearing cups look like an old Tange headset :daumenhoch: and dead sexy welding too :smitten:

the original`s were welded all the way round so don`t see why these won`t be .
they look good but i like to see what they do with the seat tube section ie where the frame stands are .
i`m not a keen lover on retro but hey it`s a trickstar so i`ve changed lol

This ones defo cool, wonder if they'll do a 24. "wantit"

Why are there two hole's in the headtube :-\

.
That's where the forks go :D
They're for Gyro tabs :daumenhoch:
-
Is the welding done by machine/robot ? it looks too neat to be done by hand, but if it is 10/10 :daumenhoch:
-
the holes are there to release the pressure from how awesome they look "wantit"

Looks like he is aiming at or around pro racer money so between $5-600 sounds ace to me :)
