Not sure what your doing wrong Lee but 184mm 3 cross lace is right for the hubs and rims you have ;)
-
Picture please
-
I have taken it all apart again mate I got to the end of my tether so thought it best I put them down its strange it have built 4 or 5 sets of whčels and never had this problem
-
I will build them again tomorrow and post pictures as I go
-
probably got one or two of the leading (first) spokes in the wrong hole/holes at the rim end, usually just one , this will twist the hub sideways when the trailing (second) spokes are put in but only when you get so far round ?
-
How do I identify the right first spoke hole on hub ??
-
Copy an existing wheel. :daumenhoch:

When i first started Lee i used this guide http://sheldonbrown.com/wheelbuild.html or use Stidd's guide in the tech and resto section http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,1344.0.html :daumenhoch:
The good thing is you have the correct size spokes 184mm for a 3 cross lace on large flange hubs to Ukai speedlines . Follow the guide and it will work ;)

I've used Stidds guide every time. Can't go wrong. :daumenhoch:
