Title: VW Passat 1.8 20v turbo saloon....£500 Quick Sale!!!
Post by: GavinDavis on June 25, 2014, 07:47 PM: Ive just taken this in px for something so im selling it on. The previous owner is one of my mates and ive known the car for around 4 years, its had quite a bit spent on it over the time and runs like a dream.

2000 "W" reg VW Passat 1.8 20v turbo
Stainless cat back exhaust
Ramair filter
Forge 007 recirculating dump valve
18" genuine Audi S6 alloys with really good tyres all round
New battery
Track rod ends just done

Car has 130k on the clock but drives sweet....boosts lovely, apparantly its remapped too but there is no paperwork to prove it. It certainly pick up nice and quick at low revs.

MOT until late Feb 2015, tax runs out at the end of the month. Loads of history...2 keys. Pioneer head unit, T1 amplifier in boot and also 6 disc changer which isnt powered up at present.

Bad points...

A few age related scratches, dinks and grazes here and there....its 14yrs old so you cant expect mint.
There is a crack in the windscreen so that would need to be replaced eventually....there is no point me having it done as the new owner could have it done for £50ish through their insurance.
Oil sensor needs replacing, it lives underneath the sump and is easy to replace when doing the next oil change. The sensor is £15 off Ebay.

Looking for £650.......The wheels alone are worth £350.....a set ended on Ebay a few days ago at that price and are exactly the same.

Ideally looking for cash but I would consider a swap for something....maybe a bmx? Let me know if you are interested :)
