So most of you know I've now got a cracking survivor 88 decade, it did unfortunately come with A very pooped seatpost, not wanting to replace it as survivor status would be lost, I went to work on it with a very long stainless steel tube, and a jig set up on the milling machine bed. Once done there was obviously going to be an accident if I were to sit a bit to hard on it as all that bending has weakened it, and there were flat spots in it where it had gone out of shape, so the Sheffield master turned a lump of steel down for me and I hammered it with great force up inside it, ooo errr, the result, a 686 gram seatpost that everyone on rad could sit on at once, still in og paint 😃 survivor is still surviving

Cheers all
Mark you can have a rip at mk mate,
Laidback, I think any other person other than me would see this as a full resto bike, but it's so ratty, the character just oozes from it, I'm just waiting on the og pedals, and struggling for the right grips in the right condition, but other than that, I've barely cleaned it to be honest, the brakes and stem had been painted with emulsion, front brake took an hour to scrape it all off revealing the lee chi logo, got bored halfway through stem so just fitted it, lol
Custard lips I was swinging it around at work and it would indeed make a pretty tasty weapon

I would have kept it as a survivor too. Have you seen mine? They are great to ride. Unfortunately I can't make MK this year, so we can't be Decade twins :LolLolLolLol:
