Are any of you finishing off bikes? or updating existing ones for MK? I have been doing a few updates to some of my bikes. Basically just sorting out a few things that I have wanted to do for ages.

I managed to find a nice survivor set of 4 slot Primo pedals for the Big Daddy. The GT DX were nice, but I always remember Matt Gibson running 4 slots on his Big Daddy so they just look a better fit to me.

I also swapped the seat clamp for an early DK one.

I swapped out the twin pinch flights on the WAL for era correct single pinch ones. I also fitted a flight sprocket as well. I cant stand twin pinch flights on early bikes so I have wanted to do this upgrade for ages.

Ed also sent me the correct stem decal a while back which I finally fitted.

The PFT also had a crank upgrade (actually a while back but not sure if I posted). A nice set of 175 GT cranks with genuine GT BB as well.

Finally I finished off the TNT as well. Been wanting to shoot pics for ages but work has been crazy and I havent had a chance. Will try do before MK.

Whilst I enjoy gazing upon some mid school iron my lounge my wife , well let's say she's not a fan .i then need to visit my hoard and collect maybe half a dozen or so more , which all need a bit of fettling .
So in closing it would appear I've got a bit on :bondage:

I might shuffle a few parts around, bars and pedals but nothing major. Might go round with a cloth and wipe some muck off too.

Great bikes, love the zima! 8)
8) I had that poorboy gyro cozy, I bet it's still at my olds somewhere
That BD needs a red kashimax fs seat ;)

Cheers fellas :) Yep, the Big Daddy could do with a touch of colour, if a survivor Kashimax surfaces then maybe I'll switch.
I'm also gonna try and finish a Sabbath and 93/95 Condors....not much chance but we'll see.

Got to bump this thread to say that this Big Daddy was my bike of the show at MK! What a time machine that bike was, and totally brought back so many memories for me. It defines the "Its only original once" definition of a true survivor, and I wish more bikes like this were still around. Best bike of MK14 hands down. :daumenhoch:
